Welcome to Motormate UK ("we", "our", or "us"). By engaging with our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Services Provided

1.1 We offer the following services:

  • On-site vehicle inspections prior to purchase.
  • Comprehensive vehicle sourcing ("car sourcing") tailored to client requirements.
  • Agent services for locating and purchasing vehicles from UK auctions.

1.2 The scope and pricing of these services are outlined on our website (https://motormate.uk/services). By agreeing to our services, you confirm acceptance of the prices and terms specified at the time of payment unless otherwise agreed in writing.


1.3 Vehicle sourcing includes up to three inspections. Additional inspections beyond this limit are subject to an additional fee, as detailed on our website. Services outside standard zones may incur additional mileage charges.


1.4 Vehicle inspections are conducted using our detailed checklist. However, the final report reflects the vehicle’s condition only at the time of inspection and does not constitute a warranty or guarantee of future performance.


2. Payments and Refunds

2.1 Payments:

  • Car sourcing requires a 50% deposit at the time of agreeing on search criteria. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the vehicle.
  • Payment terms for other services are specified on the website or in individual agreements.

2.2 Refunds:

  • If the client cancels before the preliminary list of potential vehicles is provided, no deposit is required, and no charges will be incurred.
  • After receiving the list but before inspections begin, we reserve the right to retain 50% of the service costs to cover the costs of market analysis and vehicle research.
  • If the client cancels after the first inspections, we will charge for completed inspections at a reduced rate as specified for "car sourcing" services.

2.3 No refunds will be issued after the client confirms the purchase of a vehicle or if criteria changes post-purchase.


3. Responsibilities and Limitations

3.1 We strive to provide accurate assessments of vehicles based on visible and accessible areas during inspections. However:

  • We are not liable for defects or issues that were not reasonably detectable during the inspection.
  • We are not responsible for defects disclosed in our report or issues arising from the vehicle’s usage after inspection.
  • Responsibility for defects reported or repaired without our prior notice and involvement is disclaimed.

3.2 We are not liable for issues arising during vehicle delivery. When delivery is arranged through third-party contractors or sellers, responsibility rests with the respective party.


3.3 Our liability is limited to the service fees paid.


3.4 Important Requirement for Claims: Clients must provide us with the opportunity to inspect and address any issues before taking further action, regardless of the type of seller.


4. Client Obligations

4.1 Clients must provide clear and accurate search criteria in writing before work begins. Any significant changes to criteria may require additional fees or result in a new agreement.


4.2 Clients must notify us promptly of any concerns about the services or vehicle condition, allowing us the opportunity to resolve issues amicably.


5. Timeframes and Expectations

5.1 Service timelines depend on market conditions, search criteria, and team availability. We aim to provide realistic expectations but cannot guarantee specific deadlines.


5.2 If a suitable vehicle cannot be found within agreed criteria, we will notify the client promptly. Work performed under such circumstances will be deemed completed, and no refunds will be issued beyond the unused portion of services.


6. Dispute Resolution

6.1 In the event of a dispute, we aim to resolve matters through internal review and mutual agreement.


6.2 If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to UK law and jurisdiction.


7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

8. Language and Interpretations

These Terms & Conditions are available in English and Russian. In the event of discrepancies, the English version will take precedence.
